  1. GNU sed 3.0 is now available.

  3. Copies can be obtained by ftp from prep.ai.mit.edu:pub/gnu/sed-3.0.tar.gz
  4. and from other sites (see the list of mirror sites at the end of this
  5. message).

  7. It is more P.C. (Posixly Correct) and has more reliable performance
  8. than older versions of GNU sed.
  9.  
  10. Please report bugs to bug-gnu-utils@prep.ai.mit.edu.

  12. [ Most GNU software is packed using the GNU `gzip' compression program.
  13.   Source code is available on most sites distributing GNU software.

  16.   printed GNU manuals, check the file etc/ORDERS in the GNU Emacs
  17.   distribution, ftp the file /pub/gnu/GNUinfo/ORDERS on prep, or
